I am available for in person sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00-1:30. The rest of my availability is held for online sessions.

In our first session, we will go through the Counselling Informed Consent Form. We then have the rest of our time together to start to get to know what has brought you to counselling. This can look like a structured overview of your important life events, or we can focus on what is present for you in the moment and work from there.

All I ask is that you show up, stay open to the process, and do your best to connect to what your body and mind are holding. It’s okay if this feels challenging - we will meet you exactly where you are throughout our work together.

Depending on what you’re looking for, therapy can take anywhere from 6 sessions to over 1 year. We can discuss this timeline more thoroughly in our consultation. We can also discuss the frequency of sessions in our consultation depending on what is available for you.

Everything we discuss in our sessions stays confidential between you and me. There are some exceptions to this, however. We will go through these clearly in our first session together to ensure you know your rights and what is expected.

Sessions are $155 per 60 minute session. This is including GST.

I keep your credit card information securely stored on your file. Your card will be charged after each session and you will receive a detailed receipt for your records.

I understand that life happens. If you need to cancel an appointment, I ask for 24-hours notice. I’m also open to accommodating more last-minute changes if something urgent comes up. If it becomes a regular pattern, then there is possibility of charging you for the time missed. This will be discussed in more detail in your intake session.

Though I do not direct bill for extended benefit plans, many insurance plans provide mental health coverage. Look for coverage for Canadian Certified Counsellors on your plan. You’ll pay for the session up front and then submit the receipt with your therapist’s registration number for reimbursement.
